Our Goal

It's the year 2010. The goal is to complete, by December 31st, Julia Childs, "Mastering the Art of French Cooking". We are Frankie and Lisa Capelli, mother and son. We have a passion for cooking and were inspired by the movie "Julie and Julia".

    You would have to have a great passion for cooking, to take on such a big project. I think it's wonderful. I too, found the movie, very inspiring. I also, think it's very special, to see a mother and son cook together. I can only imagine, how much fun it will be, for you both. I look foward to observing your progress, throughout the year. I'm sure, we'll all learn a lot about Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Since I just brought home some Water-Cress and your soup looks so appetizing, I think, I might have to try to make it, myself. Thanks for posting your progress. Wishing you both, great success.
